Raikou shook his head,

"We can't worry about that right now," He said getting up, "Yoite's right. Which means finding an exit even faster is key. If we don't find one quickly, we'll all fall into what appears to be an endless black pit. Let's start searching. Everyone stay away from the pit." He said, as he got up and began to search around.

[Puppy]

Miharu looked around, feeling the ground shake underneath him as well. He then heard a familiar voice returning. Miharu...I can help you get out of here you know...all you have to do is wish for it. But...I know you'll hurt me in return. You always do. I know you...Watch out. That pit doesn't like to be empty... What? Why? Suddenly, black tentacules wrapped around Yoite's legs and began to try and drag him into the pit.

Miharu got up and dashed over to him, trying to help pull him away from them, but ended up getting some around his arms.



Yukimi noticed this and whipped out his gun, shooting at them, which appeared to be working. He managed to blow apart the tentacules off of Yoite, but he wasn't sure weither to try to get Miharu's. He didn't want to accidently hit the youth,

"Yoite, help Miharu and get away from there!"

[Guest]

Yoite nodded, once being freed by the tentacles from Yukimi's gun shots. He grabbed onto Miharu hard and yanked him back, shooting his life force at the tentacles wrapped around Miharu's arms. Once freed, he ran off with Miharu and got him far away. The ground was still trembling. "Just run!" He yelled to the others.



Gau ran away from the pit, grabbing onto Yukimi and yanking him away also. "Id listen to Yoite!" He stated, following the others. Gau looked back and Tobari was the only one left. His attitude toward the whole situation made Gau think he had something to do with it all.

[Puppy]

Miharu was pulled along by Yoite, but he was extremely confused. The Shinra Banshou had actually helped him. He didn't understand why. Helped him without gain. He glanced at himself and everyone else. There was no change. He was so bewildered that he wanted to stop and think, but he couldn't stop at the moment.



Yukimi nodded,

"Duh! There's no way in hell I'm dying here!"

[Gold Chocobo]

Tobari felt the ground become uneven, deciding it would be best to listen to the murder. He was careful to watch his feet, because the ground was cracking beneath him as he was running. He could glanced back, seeing that the ceiling was starting to shatter as well, large dangerous pieces falling.



Raikou stopped running momentarily, waiting for Gau to catch up, grabbing a firm hold on his arm, as he began to dash faster, pulling Gau along, avoiding the falling ceiling.

[Guest]

Yoite didn't think Miharu's short legs would keep up with his long ones, so he picked Miharu up, bridal style, and dashed off, avoiding the crashing pieces from the ceiling. One piece fell directly in front of him, causing him to skid to a stop and shield Miharu. Small fragments scattered everywhere. When it was clear, Yoite kept running.



Gau felt Raiko grab hold of him. He was pulled forward, forced to run faster. Gau knew Yukimi could run on his own, so he let go of him and focused on his own feet. The ground was cracking beneath him at a fast pace. It was like something was disturbing the physical state of the white space. The floor was cracking and breaking off faster than he could run. He tripped slightly, loosing his balance, and forcing himself free from Raiko's helping hand. "Ah." Gau reached out, but the ground broke open and he fell, this time, no one caught him.

you'll see what I'll do with gau later. =D he's not dead.

[Puppy]

Miharu was surprised by this action, but didn't give any hints of discomfort or wanting to run on his own. He had already been out of breath because he had been screaming earlier. He coughed when the huge piece landed in front of them, dust filling the space, dust of little white fragments.



Yukimi watched as Gau disappeared from sight, but he knew it was no time for mourning. He quickly grabbed a hold of Raikou, dragging him with him, knowing full well he was going to take it the worst,

"We'll mourn later, now we just need to get to safety!"

Tobari only looked at his surroundings randomly to make sure that Rokujo was okay. He didn't really care for the others at the moment. He was only concerned about himself and Rokujo.



Raikou almost didn't take in what happened at first. When he realized what had happened his heart was frozen,

"GAU!!" He screamed, he would have halted but Yukimi dragged him along. He continued to look back where Gau had fallen, where the rest of that area was falling apart.This is all my fault....I should have never brought him into the world of Nabari. I'm so sorry Gau.

[Guest]

Yoite looked back for an instant to see Gau falling. He couldn't of done anything from being so far away, but Raiko was so close. He could have reached for him. But didn't. The action was all to fast. No one could have saved him. Yoite turned back to running, still holding Miharu in his arms. He looked ahead, and to his shock, he saw a strange door, in the middle of the blank space. "Hey! Up there!" He called out to the rest of the group.

Tobari was the first to get to the door, thrusting it open, waiting for everyone to go through. Once everyone did, he would slam it shut and go into it himself. He just needed to be sure that Rokujo was safely inside.



Raikou was dragged through the door, once inside, he felt his legs give out, which felt like jelly. He was on all fours panting, along with a tear or two stinging his eyes. He had just lost one of the most important people in his life, and he didn't do anything to try and stop it from happening.

[Puppy]

Miharu didn't know what had happened to Gau, he had snapped his eyes closed because the particles got into his eyes. He was rubbing at them until the substance was gone, now his eyes were completely red from it. He noticed the door, that was fast approaching. Is that what the Shinra Banshou tried to tell me about?



Yukimi was inside the room, his hands on his knees panting. He hadn't had to run so quickly in his life, usually he drove around in his car, but of course his car wasn't there. He gasped over and over until he caught his breath, looking at his surrounds,

"What's with this place?" He puffed.

[Guest]

Yoite looked around in the room and saw that it was nothing like the big empty space they were in before. It was a room, with bunches of staircases going every which way. "Just like that one guys art work." Yoite said, his voice echoing off the walls. He set Miharu down, breathing deeply himself. He saw that the boys eyes were red, so he pulled out some solution from his pocket. "My eyes get irritated all the time, this'll help." He handed the small bottle to Miharu.

[Puppy]

Miharu just gave him a nod,

"Thanks," After using them and looking around, he wondered where each stair case led to. You owe me one... I know....but, why did you help me? Because, you still need a wish. Besides, I'm not waiting another ten years to be able to mess with the next Shinra Banshou wielder Too long of a wait... Fine...what do you want from me in return... Hmmm...I don't know yet. I guess I'll be nicer this time...but, I'm not THAT nice. Hahahaha... Miharu felt a pain in his eyes, his hands went over them pulling them away to see blood,

"Made my eyes bleed..." He thought out loud, the blood stung his eyes, causing them to water.



Yukimi looked around,

"It'll take forever to see where each of these staircases lead. Even with the time we have."

[Gold Chocobo]

Tobari was gazing around the room when he noticed the blood coming from Rokujo's eyes,

"What happened?" He asked, bending beside him. He noticed a few red splotches, "You popped a few blood vessals? How did you manage that?"



Raikou's hands balled into fists,

"Damn it. Damn it." He repeated, holding back the anger that he held at himself. He couldn't believe how stupid he had been.

[Guest]

Yoite let Tobari check out Miharu's eyes. He had done all he could really do. Yoite sighed and shook his head. The room they were in at the moment didn't look like it was going to fall apart anytime soon.. He took the moment to sit down on a step and relax.



Everything was black. Gau felt like he was falling, which he was. He looked around into the continuous darkness. There was nothing. He just kept falling, and then he hit the ground hard. That's when everything came clear. Gau opened his eyes in a painful cringe. He was now in a room, not just any room, his room. "What the?" He was back in his room at the building where the grey wolves resided. He was in his bed, feeling groggy, like he had just woken up from a deep sleep. "Why am I back here? What happened to the-?, Gau stopped. He couldn't remember anything that happened, only that he fell and was now in his room. Nothing before that.

[Puppy]

Miharu couldn't really glimspe at his surroundings, he was too busy rubbing blood out of his eyes, which stung him and made them swell up more. Once they were done he looked around, Miss Fairy...what is this place anyhow? If I told you it wouldn't be a secret right? I guess.... Haha, I'll protect you Miharu, but I wouldn't be concerned about your friends. I won't protect them. I...will protect them then. Could you at least give me a hint? Something? I'll tell you when it's reallly important.



Yukimi sighed,

"Let's see...there's at least thirty seven flights of stairs here. Each longer then the last. Not only are they going to be tiring to climb, it's going to take a lot of time to check all of them."

[Gold Chocobo]

Tobari stayed put until the bleeding stopped, but now Miharu's eyes looked pretty bad,

"Does it hurt?" He asked him, then peered around himself. He stood and decided to suggest an idea,

"Each of us could search two staircases, come down, take a break, and search for two more." He said, making it sound simple and effortless.



Raikou looked up at all the stairways,

"We could do that, although it will be exhausting," He said, he knew he could mourn more later, for now, he needed to escape along with the others. Otherwise, Gau would be completely forgotten if he died, "We should have at least two people to a group, so if one gets tired from exhaustion, the other will be there so they aren't alone." He looked around, there was an odd number,

"Looks like we'll have a group of two and a group of three or two groups of two and one group of one."



[color=black]Tobari, upon hearing the grabbing Miharu's arm,

"I'll take Rokujo."

(I can see Yoite grabbing his other arm XD)

[Guest]

Yoite stood up suddenly. He grabbed Miharu's other arm. "No, I'll take him." He glared dagers at Tobari.



Gau was staring out his window. The day seemed perfectly normal. The sky was bright and the sun was shining. But something was off. No matter how bright it was outside, it was dull and dreary inside. And no matter how many times he tried to open his window and let the sun in, it wouldn't budge. Something was terribly off, and Gau was opted to find out whayt that something was. "I wonder if Raiko-san is in his room."

I was thinking everyone would be sort of sleeping, like coma state, and whoever is behind the white room thing is the one who put them asleep.... maybe? Up to you guys.

[Puppy]

Miharu watched as each of his arms was held by a different person he felt Deja Vu all over again. He remembered when Tobari and Raimei had to do that to him. That was the fight of wiether or not to go to Fuma village. He remembered that's where he met Yoite.



Yukimi watched the both of them with a facepalm.

[Gold Chocobo]

Tobari pulled Miharu closer to him,

"I'm afraid I'm taking Rokujo. I said I would before you," He said, glaring daggers back, "I don't like it when you're so close to my darling student." He said bluntly.



Raikou sighed,

"You can BOTH go with him. I'll go with Yukimi. We'll each check up one staircase, come back and rest, alright? You guys start on the right, we'll start on the left." He said heading in that direction.

[Guest]

Yoite blinked. Why he hadn't thought about that was beyonf him. "Alright." Yoite knew if he argued further, they wouldn't get anywhere. He glanced over at Miharu and gave his his emotionless look. "Let's get going." Yoite hoped that Miharu would realize he was much safer with him than with Tobari.

someone go back with gau too? So the realization will hit?

[Puppy]

Miharu was the first to begin walking up the stairs, which was a good thing. If something happened, he had two people to try and catch him or help him. The stairs were winding and seemed like they were never ending. He continued up the spirls, growing more and more tired as he got higher and higher up. He had to take a break. He turned, sitting down on a step, gasping for breath.



Yukimi was on a different staircase, heading up to investigate. Then suddenly, the stairs grew flat, making it a slide. Yukimi fell instantly, sliding off, hanging on the edge of one stair. He looked down, the floor has dissolved to nothingness. It was completely black. He looked over to Raikou, who was also holding on. Then, spikes grew up from the slide. Yukimi let go, to avoid the spikes, but then realized he was falling. He disappeared into the nothingness.

(I think Yoite and Miharu should be the ones that last the longest. Miharu the last one to get out for sure.)

Tobari was pretty exhausted himself. He remained standing however, just in case. He decided to let Miharu rest, but he wouldn't let him rest long. They had to keep moving and looking, otherwise they'd be here several nights. The room suddenly jerked, he grabbed onto the stairs. He looked down to see the floor was gone. The set of stairs that Raikou and Yukimi were on turned flat. He watched as Yukimi fell off, unfazed. He only valued Miharu's life.



Raikou's eyes widened when the stairs disappeared, the spikes when through his arm, but then they went back down in. He held onto the edge tightly, reaching to Yukimi, but wasn't able to save him. It had happened twice. He wasn't able to protect anyone. Why!? Why do I lack the power to protect the ones I love!? He felt tears attacking his face once more.

[Guest]

Yoite stood and watched as Yukimi fell exactly like Gau had. This time it hit him a lot harder. Sure Gau was on his side, but Yukimi was like a father to him. Yoite felt that for the moment Tobari could protect Miharu. Yoite jumped down the steps quickly and reached down for Raiko. "Grab on." He hoped he had enough strength to pull up Raiko.

[Puppy]

Miharu watched as Yukimi fell. He knew he was important to Yoite. He looked at him with worried eyes, when suddenly the stair he was sitting in broke in. He grabbed onto the ledge, all the other wooden stairs intact expect for the one that just broke.
