I was just asked by a total newb to beta a fanfic. How can I tell?

First, she tried to send me the entire first chapter of her work without asking me first. ...In a PM.

When I replied and said, "Um... You're supposed to ask first with a description and all that before sending anything, if you read my beta profile" she sent me a little summary. Okay, great.

Then she sent me three other PMs, two of which were, "Did you get my message?" The first was six minutes after the first, the next was about 4 hours after the first. The last one was "Can I send chapter 1?" forty-five minutes after the second "did you get my message." Impatient much?

So I went to her profile to see how long she's been on fanfiction.net. The first thing I see is in capital letters, "I am 7 years old" and I go, isn't that against the site's rules? You have to be 13 last I checked to have an account here. The rest of her profile is about how much she loves Miley Cyrus and not about herself at all.

Though, she's asking me to beta an Arthur fic, so I said, "Aw, what they hell." If she keeps bothering me, however, every ten seconds, I told her she's on her own.

Well, I had to deal with someone really... "witchy" today. Everything I said she'd act like I was a moron.

Seriously, she kept going on about Naruto the Abridged Series, and I said, "Oh! Do you watch Yu-Gi-Oh the Abridged?" and she said, "Oh, that one's dumb. Naruto's is so much more funny." And she acted like I was a moron and a liar when I said that Naruto's steals jokes from Yu-Gi-Oh's. And when I commented that Dairy Queen's ice cream cones don't look as pretty as the pictures at the mall we were at, she started saying I was an idiot because the pictures are of fake ice cream cones. Obviously she's never been to the one by me because those cones look EXACTLY like the pic. >_>

Two words. Shark fishing.
I have been scarred for life. It was cruel and horrible. And there was nowhere to escape hearing the people catch them. You could hear them kill them through the walls. By the time I came out, about 2-3 hours later, you could still see blood on the deck.
You tell me, does hitting one against the deck seem humane to you? Or leaving one there to suffocate? They were little... they did nothing wrong...

The problem is people here "shark" and think great white murders humans. What they don't realize is that there are very few kinds of sharks that actually bother people. Most are reef sharks which can't eat anything much bigger than your hand, so they won't bother a seal-sized person. And besides, we're in their territory. It's a sort of "at your own risk" thing.

Why on earth were you touching a 300 degree plate? And are we talking Farenheit or Celsius? Because if it were the latter, I pity you.

No worries. I burnt my finger on candle wax once. I thought the candle had cooled and went to move it, but apparently only a skin had forms and the wax dripped on me. I got blisters and scars that only recently went away.

I want to slap my teacher.

I missed a meeting with her, so I emailed appologizing and asking for another time. She replied saying she'd have to discuss it with the other person in charge of our class. I assumed she'd email me when she found a good time.

Now she wants to give me a zero for that meeting because I never talked to her about it. Well, EXCUSE ME for not realizing she wanted me to talk to her in person about it (when she never said anything about doing so in her email) and assuming she'd email me a goddamn new time!
